I am a wildly optimistic person and can generally see the bright side of anything. I am surrounded by an amazing family and "Youth Group" (Bible Study)

My interest in gardening has led me to create a garden with over 120 different varieties and colors of iris and a rose garden was researched to find roses whose names matched family members or loved ones.

I struggle with my weight , it's an up and down battle. So I want to meet people who manage their weight and view their bodies (at any size) positively.

I am a deeply spiritual person but not a "book-learned" religious person, I just know in my heart where my strength, hope and faith come from.

I am a born nurturer and caregiver - after parenting over 250 children/foster children I am looking at my last child graduating school this spring and moving to another state. Empty nest - HUGE- adjustment; but with prayer and support I anticipate it being an exciting new chapter in my life.

I love to travel but my husband is a homebody so most of my travel is through web-sites or to visit our out of state kids.
