About Me
My favorite quote is "The circumstances of life, the events of life, and the people around me in life, do not make me the way I am ...but reveal the way I am." by Dr. Sam Peeples.
I've had a physical challenge called Spina Bifida since birth, but it hasn't kept me from living an independent life. I also have Fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis now. But, I stay fit with a healthy diet, yoga, deep water aerobics, bicycling, & walks with my Pekingese. Employed by the federal government.
I am an active ELCA Luthern (formerly Southern Baptist.) I am especially interested in Integral Spirituality and Christian Mysticism. I practice contemplative prayer/meditation & other spiritual disciplines such as Lectio Divina, and completed the two-year Contemplative Life Program. Would love to find others with whom to discuss these subjects : )
