My Favorite Books, Authors, Musicians, Movies, Preachers, TV shows, etc:
Now that I'm in school I haven't had time to watch much on tv or dvd. I've put my energy into reading the books that my kids are interested in: Harry Potter, the Septimus Heap (Magyk) series, the "His Dark Materials" series, the "Inkheart" series, and pretty much anything by Nancy Farmer. (These are all kids' books, but there's a lot to be learned from each of them)
Who Inspires Me:
I am inspired by my father's parents, who put their spirituality and their family before everything else. I have learned how to be a better mother and a better person because of them. I miss them every day, but I know they're together in Heaven and that makes me smile.
My favorite spiritual activities:
I'm interested and open to all kinds of divination, but my special interest is Tarot. I find a deep connection to God and my Spirit Guide when I read the cards.
I've recently gone back to doing yoga (not so gracefully!) and practicing other relaxation techniques, which helps to restore my mind, body and spirit.

Spiritual Straddler - I have one foot in traditional religion, one foot in free-form spirituality.
