My organizations and affiliations:
Wildlife: Defenders of Wildlife, NRDC are organizations I support on one form or another. The American Red Cross i used to do volunteer work for and donated a LOT of blood and platelets for before I started traveling. Interfaith dialogue groups. I believe in ecumenism.
My favorite spiritual activities:
Praying, meditation, retreats, (these days) being a hermitess

About Me
I believe in God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and the oneness of all creation. I believe God equals Truth which equals Love. I believe in only one God. And I believe there are many narrow paths to God. All take discipline, dedication, devotion, faith, and love to travel them. And a deep all-encompassing desire to know and love God and to know and love yourself (required to know and Love God since He/She/It (however you want to look at it) created you). I consider myself to be a reasonable, Catholic Christian who wants to know and love God as He REALLY is not as I WANT Him to be OR THINK He is or as somebody else thinks He is or wants Him to be. I don't believe we control God or should even try to or to put God into a box so we can accept Him only on our terms and then try and blame God for the terms. I believe in personal responsibility for our experience of God or lack thereof.

I also investigate, religious community, as a specialization in my anthropological studies. And I also study other forms of prayer such as, labyrinths .
