I love all books. I read almost everything. My favorite type is romance, either historical or time travel. Also mail order bride romances. I really enjoy biographies and collect them too.
I like old school music , rock and R&B.
I watch a lot of TLC, the Discover Channel, HGTV, and I like Extreme Home Makeover, and Extreme Makeover. Biggest Loser is something I have been watching lately.

Hi everyone,
My name is Ellen and I live right now in Colorado Springs,at the foot of Pikes Peak! Colorado is a beautiful State, and believe me not everyone here skis and it does not snow all the time :-)
I have one son,Derrick,27, and one grandson,Isaak,almost 7. Derrick is a tutor for one of the school Districts in town, mostly for troubled youth. Isaak is in the 1st grade and very smart. I am amazed at how well he is reading.
My husband's name is Chris. We met online in 1999. I am very grateful to have found him. He truly was my knight in shining armor. He is working full time and almost done with his Masters in Information Technology.
I love reading, writing, dining out, movies, being online. I collect angels, autobiographies, and minature tea sets. I enjoy playing Scrabble and doing crossword puzzle.
There is nothing like great conversation with great people. Hope to meet a lot of new friends on here.

Spiritual but not religious
Faith Description: I suppose I am Christian in one sense, but I put spiritual because organized religion seems off somehow. I am open into finding a Church that meets my needs and I don't feel is hypocritical in its beliefs. I believe that God, in whatever form this entity exists, be it solid or ethereal, is a loving and being. Perhaps I am naive, but a hell and brimstone version preached is not comfortable to me, and I suppose my reality is my own. I can't speak for others.
