About Me
I have joined this community to find good chat from like minded people. I was a monitor in several groups and miss the warmth and good conversation. I am new to my area now, Tennessee, so I feel lucky I found this forum. I wish there was live chat instead of "threads". That is much more enjoyable to have live chat; everyone talking to each other at the same time. I will see how this goes. I think it looses it's personality and great give and take without the live chat. It's basically emails and I don't know if you can develope friendships this way. I will try it out and see how it goes. I hope it goes well.
A little more about me...I am an amature pool shooter and play leagues, tours, tournaments and nationals. I am a trained certified Clinical Hypnotherapists, a sexual assault counselor in 3 states and Washington, DC, currently writting a book on relationships in the 21st century (and need information from people is anyone is interested in participating), I make stained glass and fusion glass for a hobby, I love gardening and photographing my efforts (have sold some of my pics), and my husband is Chinese, retired antique dealer and now a portrait artist. He is brilliant.........
I don't subscribe to any real religion, but have leanings in buddhism, pantheism, native american spiritualism, but tend to be on the solitary side. I think we can learn from all with the understanding that there is lunatic fringe attached to each. For instance the muslim religion which has for centuries been a religion of peace and now their lunatic fringe has raised it's ugly head and made it bad for all of them.
I love the feeling of peace I get by looking into the face of Buddha and have them everywhere.
I hope to meet some very nice people here.
My Basics
Gender: Female
Occupation: semi-retired
Relationship Status: Married
Faiths:
Spiritual but not religious,
Faith Description: When I attend a church, it is a Unitarian Universalists, but I mainly consider myself a Neo Pagan. I'm not a Christain but I do believe in God. I see God in nature, the trees, flowers, birds, sunsets, sunrises, bees and anything new born. I consider myself a religious truth seeker, but all the different beliefs and everyone thinking they are right and everyone is wrong turns me cold. So I have a personal relationship in what I see beautiful in creation and that is nature.... I am very interested in meeting with people of all faiths for friendship and talk.

I like the picture you selected. What's the dog's name? Cute with the snow. I also like your tagline, it says so much in so few words
